Samsung wants you to return Galaxy Note 7, Again !

Samsung is riding on a roller coaster since the Galaxy Note 7 launch and the ride has not be pleasing neither to Samsung nor to the consumer. Galaxy Note 7 has already been quite popular for its explosive performance ( we mean it) and catching fire. What's even more painful for Samsung is the fact that the airlines in various countries are still not allowing users to carry Note 7 with them.
Samsung has already call out for return of the devices and most of them has been replaced. Users were expecting a smooth experience now but we are afraid you you need to wait a little longer.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are still facing issues with the devices and guess what Samsung now officially asked the users to return the device, AGAIN ! Samsung has asked the users to return the phones on the official international site -

We feel sorry for the Users and Samsung should soon clear the issues. Samsung may even want to look after the design of the phone if its making an issue and we may see a new one soon!

Google Pixel Phones have the best Cameras. DxO Marks it at 89 (iPhone 7 - 87)

Google Pixel phones officially launched and all the specs are true indeed. Google's phones are not praised much for great cameras (at least until Nexus 6). But this time Google has surpassed the competitions and has the best camera right now on a mobile device.

Dxo Mark that evaluates all the cameras including DSLRs and Phone cameras too has awarded Google pixel phones with a score of 89, that's the highest by any phone till date. For reference the recently launched iPhone 7 scores 87 points.

The camera is a 12.3 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1.55um pixels. The camera can record 4k video with image stablization. HDR+ on the pixel is now even better as it now has zero shutter delay and 2 times faster processing.

Will Pixel phones really stand with the Nexus standards ? Here's what will change and what not !

Its no secret that google has killed the long running Nexus series with the Pixel series as the replacement that is more of google rather than just the software. From the coming of Pixel C tablet which was the first of a kind of device from google, no one was sure about what the case is with the device. Some assumed it to be a parallel series of devices from google with nexus and some even said its just another nexus with a new brand name (kind of real).

For those who are still not able to figure about what we are talking in the above text is that Nexus is no more! There used to be days when there were phones that would had the Nexus and the manufacturer's branding but the new pixel phones will have just the Google logo. It doesn't mean you won't get support for already launched nexus devices, you will be still the first to get the update if you hold a nexus device that's within the update window.

What's Changed?

  1. Nexus and manufacturer's branding is gone and just a Google logo will be their but the phones will still be manufactured by other manufacturers.
  2. Pricing is premium than ever. The phones are said to come at $649 starting. For reference the iPhone 7 are priced same this year!
  3. Control over the device : The phones will be solely controlled by Google and nothing other than manufacturing will be done by HTC, this would probably result in smooth and bug free software updates at even faster rates.

  4. For the phones they would be powerful as hell. Everything from camera to processing would be top notch, you would get Snapdragon 821 with 4gb Ram and probably the best of optics to take on iPhone 7.
  5. Android 7.1, this takes me to something confusing. Why is Google launching 7.1 and 7.0 in such a small time frame? Why would not all the good stuff from 7.1 be combined into 7.0 rather than providing it as a different unit. Its not been 2 months since the launch of android 7.0 nougat and Google will be providing 7.1 this soon.
What hasn't change?
  1. Its still speedy, pure and lovable. With the new name 'Pixel' google would still be delivering updates on priority basis to pixel devices.
  2. It's still pure android or you can say the kind of experience google claims android to give. With all the bloatware in trash you will get stock android and everything you need.
Make sure to tell us what you feel on the whole Pixel story in comments below.
